1610XPi Series UPS

The Toshiba 1610XPi Series UPS is a high-performance single-phase online double-conversion Uninterruptible Power System (UPS) designed to provide reliable power protection for critical IT, commercial, financial, healthcare, and industrial applications. Available in 6 kVA and 10 kVA capacities, the 1610XPi Series combines advanced digital control technology, factory-installed output isolation transformer capabilities, and high-power density design within a compact cabinet footprint for simplified deployment and maintenance.

Engineered for demanding power environments, the 1610XPi Series offers a wide input voltage range, generator compatibility, automatic frequency detection, and selectable output voltages to adapt to a variety of utility conditions. Advanced DSP control continuously monitors system performance to maximize power quality, improve reliability, and provide comprehensive protection for connected equipment.

With an output power factor of 1.0, low input harmonic distortion, and high input power factor, the 1610XPi Series delivers exceptional utilization of available power while minimizing impact on upstream electrical infrastructure. Insulated Bearings

  • An electric motor operating on an adjustable speed drive is at risk for premature bearing failure caused by stray currents. Experience indicates using insulated bearings on both ends of the motors is the most effective way to protect the motor from destructive currents. A high level of bearing protection is especially beneficial in applications where motor maintenance and replacement are difficult.
  • Extended Horsepower Capability

  • Extended horsepower capability allows a smaller motor to run at a higher horsepower than its baseline depending on the application requirements. This provides motor users potential cost savings while achieving the same motor performance.
  • Insulation with Wide Thermal Capability

  • Critical cooling motors utilize many Class H insulation materials in its winding designs, which provides increased thermal protection. These motors operate with a very low temperature rise at rated conditions, giving them a wide thermal margin and extended motor life.
  • Low Vibration

  • A vibration level exceeding NEMA MG1 requirements provides stability and durability by prolonging motor and bearing life and helping to reduce downtime.
