On August 19–20, 2024, Toshiba International Corporation proudly partnered with Horne Elementary for the Cy-Fair Bus Buddies Program—an initiative that helps young students feel safe and supported during their first days of school.

As part of our ongoing commitment to community engagement and educational outreach, Toshiba employees stepped up to serve as Bus Buddies, guiding children through their morning and afternoon bus routines. From offering cheerful greetings to helping students find their buses, our volunteers provided a reassuring presence that helped ease first-day jitters and foster a sense of belonging

The impact was immediate and heartfelt. Teachers, administrators, and students expressed deep appreciation for the kindness and support shown by our team—proof that even small gestures can make a big difference.
