The AS3 offers dual overload ratings based on duty type:
- Heavy Duty (HD)
- 110% continuous
- 150% for 60 seconds
- 180% for 2 seconds on frames A1–A6
- 165% for 2 seconds on frames A7–A8 (250–450 HP)
- Normal Duty (ND)
- 105% continuous
- 120% for 60 seconds
- 150% for 2 seconds
