Quiet Operation

Operates at low noise levels of 90 dBA (measured from one meter), reducing acoustic interference in various environments.

 

Precision Vibration Limits

Features controlled vibration specifications: 0.08 in/s for 2, 4, and 6 poles, and 0.06 in/s for 8 poles. These parameters aim to minimize wear and improve operational stability.

 

Hazardous Area Compliance

Designed for Class I, Division 2, and Zone 2 environments, compatible with sine wave and inverter (ASD) power sources to meet safety and performance standards.

Sealing and Protection

Non-contacting labyrinth seals on both bearings, gasketed main t-box & auxiliary t-box, lead separator gaskets, and corrosion-resistant drain & breather at the lowest part of the motor frame & inside main t-box enhance the reliability and durability by providing effective sealing and protection reducing maintenance and preventing costly downtime.

 

Insulation System

Designed to withstand an immersion test in accordance with NEMA® MG 1, demonstrating proven resistance to moisture penetration for reliable performance in demanding conditions.

 

Safety

Grounding is prioritized, with grounding lugs installed on the motor frame and inside the main terminal box. These lugs provide a safe path for stray electrical currents to dissipate into the ground, preventing the motor frame from becoming energized.

 

Testing and Standards

Adhering to rigorous testing and standards, this series undergoes Non-Witnessed Routine Testing per IEEE 112, verifies efficiency, power output, and operational stability while actively identifying manufacturing defects or inconsistencies early, guaranteeing that only high-quality motors reach the market.

 

Insulated Bearings

  • An electric motor operating on an adjustable speed drive is at risk for premature bearing failure caused by stray currents. Experience indicates using insulated bearings on both ends of the motors is the most effective way to protect the motor from destructive currents. A high level of bearing protection is especially beneficial in applications where motor maintenance and replacement are difficult.
  • Extended Horsepower Capability

  • Extended horsepower capability allows a smaller motor to run at a higher horsepower than its baseline depending on the application requirements. This provides motor users potential cost savings while achieving the same motor performance.
  • Insulation with Wide Thermal Capability

  • Critical cooling motors utilize many Class H insulation materials in its winding designs, which provides increased thermal protection. These motors operate with a very low temperature rise at rated conditions, giving them a wide thermal margin and extended motor life.
  • Low Vibration

  • A vibration level exceeding NEMA MG1 requirements provides stability and durability by prolonging motor and bearing life and helping to reduce downtime.
