Motors & Drives
TIC Motors & Drives offers a full range of low and medium voltage motors, adjustable speed drives, motor controls, and power apparatus & components. We are anchored by a totally integrated manufacturing process consisting of: research and development, design, engineering, production and manufacturing, and aftermarket service and support.
With the capability to test products together as a system before sending out into the field, TIC ensures the highest level of quality, performance, and reliability.
Power Electronics
TIC Power Electronics has more than 25 years of experience in uninterruptible power systems. Toshiba produces a versatile range of single-phase and three-phase UPS solutions and accessories hallmarked for outstanding performance and reliability.
Single-phase models range from 1 to 22 kVA, while three-phase single module systems range from 15 to 2,000 kW and three-phase parallel module systems from 90 to 16,000 kW. These systems are suitable for applications including datacenters, telecommunication, retail, healthcare, broadcasting, and industrial.
Transmission & Distribution
Transmission & Distribution is part of Toshiba Corp.'s world leadership in the supply of integrated solutions for energy transmission, distribution, and smart communities. As one of the world's largest manufacturers of state-of-the-art transmission and distribution equipment, Toshiba has provided highly reliable and innovative products to the global market for over a century.
Transmission & Distribution serves the North American market with a product offering that meets the market demand for larger capacity, compact design, and environmentally friendly solutions that produce impressive efficiency ratings and excellent results.
Automotive Systems
Since 2011, the TIC Automotive Systems Division has manufactured high-performance drive motors for hybrid electric vehicles (HEV). The state-of-the-art HEV plant spans 85,000 square feet and produces up to 380,000 motor and generator sets annually.
The plant delivers motors and generators for hybrid electric vehicles globally.
Toshiba Industrial Products, Asia, Co. (TIPA)
TIPA opened in September 2010 as a joint venture between TIC, Toshiba Corporation, Toshiba Industrial Products Manufacturing Corporation, & Toshiba Industrial Products Sales Corporation. The TIPA plant expands TIC's motor manufacturing capabilities to meet the global market's growing demand for premium efficiency motors and improved environmentally-responsible products that consume less power and emit less carbon dioxide.
With approximately 861,113 sq. ft. of manufacturing space, TIPA has the capacity to produce up to 1.2 million high efficiency industrial motors a year.
